This school is a joke. The administration hides their decisions behind the "district" when it suits them. If the parent is not part of the network, or what back in the day called the "good ole boy" system", then your child will struggle. Oh sure, they will talk nice to you, and try to sympathize, but as soon as you turn around, you may want to have some one handy to pull the knives out of your back for you. Nepotism is rampant. Heaven forbid something ever happen to one of your kids at school between them and one of their (some who works there, or part of Horry County Govt) cousins brothers, sisters boy ever (yeah i know that implication) ...because they will do everything possible to cover it up... I mean EVERYTHING...and forget trying to get help from the school resource officer. Officer Elvis... well ... I will leave that one alone...for now...and leave that comment on the APD review. But what I'm really wondering about this school at the moment...is how so many sexual assaults are getting swept under the rug? hmmmm and why they aren't being treated the same? and why is Elvis lying about them? hmmmm???? and why isn't he reporting the crime as he should to his chief? hmmm? oh i could keep going..... ... hmmm
Proud Alum of 2003. As I grew up I realized my education here was superior to other schools in the area. Most local people I encountered of my age didn't seem as diversified and in depth in having been taught. Great school with caring teachers.
This school is a joke. They allow bullying and sexual harassment. They local cops are in on it also. Do not let your children go there. This will be going to the news.
