We recently had a car break down near Aynor after driving from Kentucky to a beach condo. Carmichael's Tire let us leave the car on their lot when it was closed, checked it out on Monday, ran diagnostics and did not charge us for labor or diagnostic work. Advice was open, honest and supportive during our stress. Herb is trustworthy and would get all of our business if we lived in the area.
While on family vacation to Myrtle Beach from Pennsylvania, we were involved in an accident about a 1/2 mile from Carmichael's. We were camping and so we had a truck and camper. The brakes had failed in our truck and we were unable to drive it. On a Saturday afternoon we were stranded with no rental car agencies open and no way to get our camper to the campground 30 miles away. Herb had a roll back that could tow our camper but it would not fit our family. Herb was so gracious to lend us his personal vehicle to drive into Myrtle Beach while following our camper behind his roll back. We were speechless at this amazing offer. Herb assured us that he would take good care of our truck and get it back to operating condition while we vacationed. We will never forget the sincere hospitality of this kind man. We're on our way back through the area in week and will surely stop by to say hi!
Very quick, friendly and efficient service. Needed to replace a spare tire after we had a blowout on our rv. Affordable prices. Did not try to rip me off just because i was a "tourist".
They may be a little more expensive, but I have not had to return for the same problem twice.
